How fees work
We bill your plan first. This is how each part works, and what you can ask us to put in writing.
Insurance we work with
We file claims for you with PPO and indemnity dental plans, and you pay the share your plan doesn't. Whether we are in your plan's network depends on the plan.
PPO and indemnity plans: we file the claim
DHMO and capitation plans: not accepted
Medicare Advantage: we check what your plan covers
Medicaid and CHIP: not accepted
Checking your benefits
Before your first visit Robin Fleming checks your plan's benefits and tells you what the plan says it covers, your yearly limit and what you have left. A plan's figure is the plan's, so we show you both.
If you pay yourself
Without insurance you pay the fee for your visit, and any treatment is quoted in writing first. Routine visits can be covered by our yearly membership, which is not insurance and has a 12-month term you can cancel before it renews, with a full refund for 30 days if unused. Financing is offered by third-party lenders. Approval and terms are set by the lender.
See the membershipAn estimate in advance
We give a written estimate in advance to anyone paying without insurance, and to anyone who asks. It lists the treatment, the visits it takes and what it will cost.

Receipts for reimbursement
If you pay us and a plan reimburses you, we give you an itemized statement of your visit to send to your plan. Your plan decides what it pays.
What the first visit includes
A new-patient visit takes about an hour: a checkup, X-rays when Dr. Urbina decides you need them, and a talk about what she found. Bring your insurance card, a photo ID and a list of your medicines.

Time for your questions
An estimate is our written account of what will be billed. Your plan's final payment can differ, and we explain any difference before you pay.
